Comedy Central has confirmed that US President Barack Obama will make his sixth appearance as a guest on spoof news programme "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart".The episode featuring President Obama will premiere on Comedy Central in the USA on Thursday 18 October at 23:00 pm ET/PT, and then in sub-Saharan Africa on Comedy Central Africa (DStv Channel 122) on Friday 19 October at 22:10 CAT.
This is President Obama's second appearance on the show since taking office as President of the United States of America. President Obama's last appearance on The Daily Show was on October 27, 2010 when The Daily Show taped a week of shows in Washington, D.C.

Supervising producers are Pam DePace, Tim Greenberg, Hillary Kun and Stuart Miller. Jill Katz is the executive in charge of production. The series' head writer is Tim Carvell and it is directed by Chuck O'Neil. Contributors to the show include Lewis Black, John Hodgman, Kristen Schaal and Larry Wilmore.
